OUR STORY
Four Centuries of Business Relationships
Although Alroumi Group Holdings was established in the 1970's, the Alroumi Family has been rooted in business since the establishment of Kuwait in the early 1700s. The family's wealth originated from its pearl diving and trading operations in the early 18th century. The Alroumi Pearling Fleet, led by its flagship, Almansour, which is pictured above, consisted of multiple vessels with an annual turnover of over 100 million Rupees at its height, and has sailed throughout the Arabian Gulf, the Indian Ocean and the Arab Sea.
